GOD WENT SURFING WITH THE DEVIL
Keep an eye out for this documentary. Skateboarder Alex Klein is in Israel and Gaza to tell the tale of life and surfing in the Middle East. Klein and his talented film crew are living alongside locals, spending day and night by their side as they laugh, eat, drink, surf, panic and cry.
No clips have been released yet, but they keep a blog which is home to some of the most stunning photography I have seen in a long time. If this is anything to go by, the film will be extraordinary. A story of vibrant and tenderhearted communities trying to live their lives amidst absolute chaos and confusion. In particular some incredible young men, Israeli and Palestinian, who have put down their guns and picked up surfboards.
